Scent Class
The Scent Work class for session 2 (March) is full. We expect to open registration for session 3 (May) on April 25th @ 2:00 pm.
Introduction to Scent Work
The method used in this class is shaping. The class focus is to build value on odor (Birch will be the only odor used) to introduce and build drive for hunting for odor. With the exercises emphasizing the importance of staying at the odor source.
Beginner Scent Work
This is for dogs who are new to scent work and have not had odor recognition training or an introduction to Scent Work Class. The focus will be on essential oil odor recognition training.
Advanced Scent Work
This is for dogs who know to search and indicate the location of an odor, or dogs that have successfully completed an introduction to Scent Work Class. The focus will be on odor indication and conflicting odor separation tasks.
